After long speculations, Vivo has finally officially launched the Vivo Y03 in the budget segment. This new Y-series smartphone is the successor to Vivo Y02 which was launched in November last year. The affordable Vivo Y03 features an IPS LCD panel, MediaTek Helio G85 processor, IP54 waterproof rating and a 5,000mAh battery. Let’s get to know the details including the price of the phone.
Specifications and Features of Vivo Y03
The Vivo Y03 has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen, which offers HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The waterdrop notch is seen on the top of the panel, which is a very common feature in budget range devices. MediaTek Helio G85 processor is used in it. Although this octa-core chip was launched in 2020, it is capable of providing decent performance for daily tasks. The processor is coupled with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB eMMC 5.1 in-built storage. Vivo Y03 has microSD card slot, through which storage can be expanded up to 1 TB. In addition, the phone also has Vivo’s Extended RAM feature, which will allow the user to expand the RAM up to 4GB.
For photography, the Vivo Y03 has a dual camera ring on the rear panel, housing a 13-megapixel primary lens and a QVGA lens. LED flash is also present next to this camera setup. And the front of the phone has a 5 megapixel selfie camera. For power backup, the Vivo Y03 packs a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 15W charging via the USB-C port. In terms of software, the entry-level phone runs Android 14-based FunTouch OS 14 custom skin. The phone has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
Vivo Y03 Price and Availability
The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the Vivo Y03 in Indonesia has been priced at INR 12,99,000 (approx. Rs. 6,910). And the higher 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at INR 14,99,000 (roughly Tk 8,000). The Vivo Y03 is available in Green and Black color options. Vivo is expected to launch this smartphone in India soon.
