OnePlus is currently working on a new mid-range smartphone. The device is rumored to come with the name OnePlus Nord 5. Its various features have already come forward. However, OnePlus has not yet confirmed its official launch date. But today the complete specifications of this handset have been leaked online. According to a latest post by tipster Shishir, the OnePlus Nord 5 smartphone will feature a similar camera setup to the flagship device OnePlus 12R that debuted a few days ago. If the leaked information is true, the upcoming model will feature a 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX 890 primary sensor and ultra-wide and macro shooters as secondary cameras. These cameras will allow for great quality photos and videography.
The tipster also claims that the OnePlus handset will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 processor and will have up to 16GB of RAM. It will come with a 6.74-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5,500mAh capacity battery. It is also known that the device will be built with a glass back panel and a plastic frame.
Meanwhile, one thing we are sure about in terms of leaked specifications is that the price of the upcoming OnePlus Nord 5 model will be kept within Rs 35,000 in the country. In this case there can be two reasons for keeping the selling price above Rs.30,000. First, it will include many features similar to the expensive OnePlus 12R phone. Secondly, last year its predecessor i.e. OnePlus Nord 3 was announced with a starting price of Rs 33,999. As a result, it is normal for the successor to be priced slightly higher.
