The company is about to introduce a new electric scooter named Rizta, which is claimed to offer the largest and most comfortable seat in the segment. It is reported that it will have a family oriented design instead of a sporty design. So that everyone in the family can use it easily and beautifully. Now the launch date of Ather Rizta has been revealed. It is said to debut on April 6. Aether’s ‘Community Day Event’ will be celebrated again on that day.
Ather Rizta has been designed keeping in mind that two-wheeler riding can be experienced with peace of mind on the road. That is, it is a family scooter. It features boxy styling and huge seats. Earlier, the company had compared the seat of a popular petrol scooter in the country to show how much wider and longer the Rizta’s seat is.
Ather Rizta Design and Specifications
Ather Rizta has been tested several times on Indian roads. Comedian Anubhav Basi, uploaded a picture of this scooter on his Instagram account. It has a 2.9 kWh battery pack and a 5.4 kW electric motor. As notable features, the Ather 450S gets LCD instrument console and pillion grab rail.

For driver safety, Ather Rizta comes with disc brakes on both wheels, CBS for better handling. However, Ether has not yet revealed what type of suspension will be used in it for comfortable riding.

After launch, the Ather Rizta is likely to be priced at Rs 1.3 lakh (ex-showroom, subject to FAME 2 scheme subsidy). The scooter has competitors in the market – Ola S1 X+ and TVS iQube. Ether hopes it will become the model of choice for many buyers thanks to its low price and family-friendly features.
