Oppo 125W charging technology will globally unveil by Oppo on July 15. Oppo shared a tweet as well as a post on Weibo to share this development. Oppo unveiled its 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging technology in October last year with the Oppo Reno Ace and now, the company almost doubled the charging speed with 125W fast charging. This charging technology may be named as either “super flash charge” or a new version in the SuperVOOC fast charging tech.

Oppo doesn’t mention much more in the tweet only a short video clip that shows the number goes up from 65W to 125W and a hashtag #FlashForward.

Last month some reports suggest that Oppo is planning on launching 80W fast charging technology that will be called SuperVOOC 3.0 but it is possible that this name will be given to the Oppo 125W charging technology, which will be unveiled in a couple of days. Additionally, the Weibo post also mentions a time for the unveiling – 3 pm local time (12:30 pm IST).
A few days ago few reports also suggest that Oppo’s sub-brand Realme is also working on 120W fast charging tech to be revealed in July. It might be called ‘Ultra Dart’ and can charge 1/3rd of a 4000mah+ battery in just 3 mins. And also Xiaomi’s 120W fast charger spotted on the 3C Certification website. I am eagerly waiting for these monster chargers from all the three companies. Are you also eagerly waiting for the unveiling of these chargers? Let me know in the comment section.
