As expected, ZTE launched its latest budget-oriented smartphone, the ZTE XiaoXian 50, at a product launch event today. The phone has LCD display, Purple Light Exhibition Sharp T760 5G processor, 50 megapixel primary camera and 4,000 mAh battery. Specifications of ZTE XiaoXian 50
The ZTE Shaoxing 50 features a 6.52-inch 1,650×720 pixels LCD waterdrop display, which supports 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate and 83% NTSC color gamut. The device is powered by the Purple Light Exhibition Sharp T760 5G mobile platform, which is manufactured using a 6 nanometer EUV process. It has four Cortex-A76 and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz.
The processor is coupled with Mali G57 GPU for graphics. The chipset scored around 400,000 on benchmarking platform AnTuTu. The device comes in two variants – 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. The ZTE Shaoxing 50 runs on MyOS 13 custom skin based on Android 13 operating system.
In terms of optics, the ZTE Shaoxing 50 features a 13-megapixel rear camera. And for selfies and video calling, the phone has a 50-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. For power backup, Shaoshin 50 includes an in-built 4,000mAh battery, which supports 5W charging. For faster connectivity, the phone supports both standalone/non-standalone dual-mode 5G. In addition to its 5G capabilities, the ZTE Shaoxing 50 supports dual SIM, dual standby and dual-band Wi-Fi.
The device offers virtual RAM support up to 8 GB. For older users, the phone includes ten custom features with functions such as large icons, large fonts, high volume and WeChat mini program remote guardianship, application security, anti-fraud and anti-harassment.
ZTE XiaoXian 50 Price and Availability
The ZTE XiaoXian 50 is available in the Chinese market in two configurations. Its 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at 699 Yuan (approximately Rs. 8,059) and the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at 799 Yuan (approximately Rs. 9,250). The design of the phone includes fake ballistic nylon texture, gold radiating lines and obsidian CD lines. It will be sold through China Telecom channels. The ZTE XiaoXian 50 is available in two color options – Time Gray and Spring Sunlight Green. However, there is no word yet on whether the device will be launched in the global market.
