Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. recently quietly removed mild hybrid technology from all manual variants of one of its most popular SUVs, the Brezza. Also, the electronic stability program and hill hold assist features have been omitted from the Brezza CNG. And now the Indo-Japanese company has dropped the ‘rear defogger’ feature from its popular hatchback WagonR.
Maruti Suzuki has removed the ‘rear defogger’ feature from the WagonR
Maruti Suzuki used to offer rear defogger from the top-end variant ZX+ with 1.2 liter petrol engine of WagonR. But this time it was quietly removed. Rear defogger is a system for cleaning the rear glass of the car. Which is especially helpful during winter and monsoon.
However, while the features have been cut from the WagonR, there has been no change in its pricing. As before, the hatchback model will be sold at an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.54-7.42 lakh. It has a 1.0 liter three-pot petrol engine. From which a maximum power of 67 PS and 89 Nm of torque are available.
Again the car is available with a 1.2 liter four-cylinder petrol engine. It produces 90 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. The car is available in 5-speed manual and 5-speed automatic transmission options. The WagonR features a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, four-speaker sound system, steering mounted audio and phone controls, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, hill hold assist, electronic stability program, etc.
