Apple fans all over the world are eagerly waiting for the launch of the upcoming iPhone 15 series of flagship smartphones. But now it is heard that the launch of this lineup may be slightly delayed than expected. Apple usually launches their new iPhone models in September every year. But, several times in the past the iPhone launch event has also been held in the month of October. And now a new report has revealed that this year the US company has decided to postpone the iPhone 15 series launch event by a few weeks.
The iPhone 15 series launch event may be delayed by a few weeks
In their report, MacRumors quoted Bank of America Global Securities Analyst Wamsi Mohan as claiming that the iPhone 15 series launch event could be delayed and held in October. The analyst obtained this information from Apple’s supply chain. Based on available details, Wamsi Mohan claimed that the US tech company may push their iPhone launch event to the fourth quarter of this year. However, the analyst did not mention any reason behind this possible delay in the event.
Let us know that Apple is expected to launch four new iPhone models by the end of this year. The iPhone 15 series will include the standard iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The devices will debut as successors to the iPhone 14 series launched in September last year. Wamsi Mohan has so far only claimed or rather reported about the delay of the iPhone 15 series launch event. So only time will tell how true this information is.
Earlier, some reports claimed that the iPhone 15 series launch event will be held on September 12. In comparison, the iPhone 14 series was launched on September 7 last year and went on sale from September 16 in India, the US and other markets. However, the lockdown in China created problems for Apple’s supply chain, so only the iPhone 14 Plus model was sold in October.
However, Apple is currently said to have smoothed the way for the production of the iPhone 15 series by addressing their supply chain issues. The news of Tata Group’s partnership with Apple to manufacture iPhone 15 in India has also surfaced a few days ago. In addition, there are other major Apple suppliers such as Foxconn, Pegatron and Luxshare, which will assemble the rest of the models.
