Nokia’s ‘Smart’ Keypad Phone Launches in India, Offers Useful Features Including UPI Payments

Yesterday, Reliance Jio launched Jio Bharat, an affordable 4G feature phone in the country that supports integrated UPI payments through the JioPay app. And now, HMD Global subsidiary brand Nokia has also launched a few new feature phones with UPI support in India. These are – 2023 models of Nokia 110 4G and Nokia 110 2G. Both devices support QQVGA display, rear camera with QVGA resolution and expandable memory up to 32GB. Nokia 110 4G (2023) and Nokia 110 2G Price and Availability in India

The Nokia 110 4G (2023) is priced at Rs 2,499 in the Indian market and will be available in Midnight Blue and Arctic Purple colors. On the other hand, the Nokia 110 2G (2023) model is priced at Rs 1,699 and this phone can be chosen in two color variants – Charcoal and Cloudy Blue. Both the phones can be purchased from the company’s official website, offline stores and will soon be available in other retail stores as well.

Specifications of Nokia 110 4G (2023) and Nokia 110 2G

Compared to its predecessor, the 2021 model, the Nokia 110 2G/4G (2023) model features minor design changes. But the finish of the devices feels more premium, probably because of the new colors. Most importantly, this year’s models come with in-built UPI payment support, allowing users to make payments effortlessly with the press of a button. Besides, durability has been prioritized in these phones like most of the Nokia devices.

The Nokia 110 4G has a powerful 1,450 mAh battery unit while the Nokia 110 2G uses a smaller 1,000 mAh capacity battery. Both phones support extended storage up to 32 GB. In addition, the Nokia 110 2G and Nokia 110 4G offer wireless FM radio functionality, allowing users to access news, music and sports content from their favorite FM stations without the need for headphones.

Talking about detailed specifications, the Nokia 110 4G (2023) features a 1.8-inch display, QVGA rear camera and a 1,450 mAh battery, which offers 12 days of standby time and 8 hours of talk time (4G). It offers Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack and Micro USB 2.0. The phone supports microSD card up to 32 GB and runs on S30+ operating system. The back panel of the Nokia 110 4G (2023) is made of polycarbonate with a nano texture and has an IP52 water resistance rating. The Nokia 110 4G comes in Midnight Blue and Arctic Purple color options, weighs 94.5 grams and measures 50 x 121.5 x 14.4 mm.

On the other hand, the Nokia 110 2G (2023) also features a 1.8-inch QVGA display, a QVGA rear camera. The 1,000 mAh battery is capable of offering up to 12 days of standby time. The device features micro-USB (1.1) connectivity and microSD card support up to 32GB and runs on the S30+ operating system. Nokia 110 2G (2023) comes with wired and wireless FM radio reception and supports 2G network with dual SIM capability. Its back panel is made of polycarbonate with a nano texture and the handset also has an IP52 rating for water resistance. The Nokia 110 2G will be available in Charcoal and Cloudy Blue colors, weighs 79.6 grams and measures 49.4 x 115.07 x 14.4 mm.
