Kia India is gearing up to launch the facelifted version of its Seltos SUV in India. The car is expected to make its debut in the country next month i.e. July. The reason for saying so emphatically is that the new version of the Celts was seen doing a test run for the first time near Kia’s factory in Andhra Pradesh. The spotted model had no covering. The 2023 Kia Seltos Facelift will challenge the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Brezza, Toyota Hyryder, and Honda Elevate with a mid-life update.

Hyundai Creta leads the segment. It has bagged the title of the country’s best selling SUV in terms of sales for the month of May. It’s also going to get an update. Hyundai may bring its new generation model to the market in 2024. The 2023 Kia Seltos will see innovations in design, engine and technology.
Recently spotted Seltos have a maroon coating on them. It is the top-end GT Line variant of the car. The SUV model gets a new grille, improved headlamps with new LED DRLs and updated bumpers. However, the ice cube LED foglamp assembly and alloy wheels are the same as the current model. The new Seltos gets LED strips at the front and rear. Besides, new cladding on the doors, new rear taillamps have been given. The GT Line features red paint on the front and rear bumpers and dual exhaust tips.
A panoramic sunroof and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) are among the significant updates on the new 2023 Kia Celta facelift. Safety features include Blind Spot Collision Warning, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, Smart Cruise Control, Highway Driving Assist, Safe Exit Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist. Celtus facelift is going to get new interior theme along with ambient lighting.
Speculations are rife, the 2023 Kia Seltos Facelift will be offered with a new 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine. Whereas the current model features a 1.4-litre turbo petrol unit. 160 bhp of power and 253 Nm of torque can be obtained from the new powertrain. The car can be optioned with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Besides, the same 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol (115 bhp/144 Nm) and 1.5 liter diesel engine (116 bhp/250 Nm) will be offered as well.
