Samsung Galaxy S22 series was announced along with the Galaxy Tab S8 series as the new flagship series from the South Korean Tech Giant. The series comes with top-notch specifications and the company also states that the new series will provide a next-level low light photography experience. All the phones in the Samsung Galaxy S22 series come running on Android 12 with One UI 4.1 skin on top. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is the first smartphone in the S-series to come with S Pen.

Samsung Galaxy S22 flaunts a 6.1 inches Dynamic AMOLED 2X with Full-HD+ resolution, adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass Victus+, and Samsung’s Eye Comfort Shield for blue light certification. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with Snapdragon 8Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 depending on the region. It is accompanied by 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage.

In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens with 120-degree Field of View, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3 x optical zoom and 30 x digital zoom with Optical Image Stabilisation support. For selfies, the phone sports a 10-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top center with an f/2.2 aperture.

Coming to optics, the smartphone also sports a triple rear camera including the same 50-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS support. The phone flaunts a 10-megapixel selfie snapper under the punch-hole cutout.

The phone is powered with either Snapdragon 8Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 4nm octa-core processor paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The device is backed by a 4500mah battery, and supports 45W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and reverse charging. The smartphone measures 157.4 x 75.8 x 7.6mm and weighs 196g. The Galaxy S22+ boasts the same sensors and connectivity as in Galaxy S22.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra sports a 6.8 inches Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Edge QHD+ resolution, adaptive refresh rate, 1,750 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus+. The smartphone comes equipped with a 5000mah battery and supports 45W fast charging, 15W fast wireless charging along with reverse charging support. In terms of Dimensions, the device measures 163.3 x 77.9 x 8.9mm and weighs 229 grams.

The smartphone features a quad rear camera that includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor, 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom. The phone boasts a 40-megapixel selfie sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. It also comes with S Pen support that comes with 70 percent lower latency compared to its predecessor. The device sports similar connectivity, and sensors as the above two models.

Samsung Galaxy S22 comes with a starting price of $799 ( Rs. 59,900 approx ), Galaxy S22+ comes with a starting price of $999 ( Rs. 74,800 approx ), while the Galaxy S22 Ultra starts at $1,199 ( Rs. 89,700 approx ). The series will be available for purchase from 25 February in selected regions.
