Tecno POP 5 LTE was revealed in India as the new entry-level smartphone from the Chinese Tech Giant. Although, The smartphone was already announced in Pakistan and the Philippines back in November with some differences. The phone comes with a waterdrop notch display, dual rear camera, MediaTek octa-core chipset, big battery, and more.

Tecno POP 5 LTE sports a 6.5 inches waterdrop notch display with an HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution, 2.5D curved glass, 480 nits brightness, 120Hz touch sampling rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 90% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Helio A25 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is accompanied by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot.
In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a dual rear camera that includes an 8-megapixel primary sensor along with an AI lens coupled with LED flash. For selfies, the smartphone features a 5-megapixel front-facing camera under the dewdrop notch along with an LED flash. The device is running on Android 11 Go edition with HiOS 7.6 skin on top.
The smartphone is packed with a 5000mah battery with up to 48 hours of continuous video playback and 31 days of standby time. For connectivity, the phone includes 4G VoLTE, FM Radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, micro USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, the device also features IPX2-rated splash resistance.

Tecno POP 5 LTE comes with a solo configuration of 2GB + 32GB priced at Rs. 6299 and the company offered the phone in three color options namely Ice Blue, Deepsea Luster, and Turquoise Cyan. The device will be available for purchase from January 16 via Amazon India.
