Oppo A55 was revealed in India as the new budget smartphone from the Chinese Tech Giant. The smartphone comes with a 50MP triple rear camera, punch-hole HD+ display, big battery, fast charging, MediaTek entry-level octa-core SoC, and more. The phone sports similar specifications like Realme Narzo 50a, realme 8i, and more.

Oppo A55 features a 6.51 inches LCD display with ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution, 16.7 million colors, 120Hz touch sampling rate, 60Hz refresh rate, 70% NTSC color gamut, NEG T2X-1 glass protection, and 550 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor which is paired with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot up to 256GB.
In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. For selfies, the phone sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top left corner. The device is running on Android 11 with Color OS 11.1 on top.
The phone is backed by a 5000mah battery and supports 18W fast charging as well. For connectivity, the smartphone includes dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB TYPE-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard, the device sports an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, proximity sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Oppo A55 comes in two configurations including 4GB + 64GB priced at Rs. 15,490 and 6GB + 128GB for Rs. 17,490 and the company offered the phone in two color options namely Starry Black and Rainbow Blue. The smartphone will go for sale from October 3 via Amazon.in, Oppo online store, and some offline stores across the country.
