OnePlus Pods appears to be the name of the company’s upcoming truly wireless (TWS) earbuds that Oneplus has already unveiled in April. Oneplus pods features have been tipped via Android 11 Beta 1 update that OnePlus brought for its OnePlus 8 series earlier this week. OnePlus was initially said to unveil its first TWS earbuds in April with the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 pro. But the company didn’t make that announcement and instead unveiled the Bullets Wireless Z as its new offering for audio lovers.

Oneplus Pods settings Spotted

Oneplus Earpods spotted by a user over on the XDA forums, When Android 11 beta released for Oneplus 8 series, It contains a hint of Oneplus Pods. He spotted in the Android 11 Settings app, it contains the string which is related to new Oneplus Pods. Oneplus may also launch a new Application that is used to control the functionality of these Pods.

Oneplus may provide you the same control gestures as you have seen in Realme or Mi earbuds such as double-tap to play or pause an active music track or even to skip to the next or previous song. You will also see a new option through OTA update called find my Bluetooth earphone which is work on Google’s Find My Accessories feature and uses Google’s Fast Pair service which provides syncing of data fastly and conveniently. Last month tipster Max J said on twitter that the TWS earbuds by OnePlus would be called “OnePlus Buds”.

Oneplus Pods launch Date

OnePlus recently launched its new Bullets wireless Z earphones which offers Great Sound Quality but still, it has a cable. Now Oneplus planning to launch its Oneplus Pods. As you know the trend set by Apple Air pods and Samsung Earbuds is now adapted by many smartphone manufacturing giants like Xiaomi, Realme, and Oppo. These companies also launched their earbuds at a reasonable price. Now Oneplus also follows the same path and you will see a new Oneplus Pods in the mid of July and its midrange smartphone Oneplus Z too.
